2005_U_16 Resolution to ratify the universal recognition of the rights of Islam and the end to all conflict

At present, a global radical movement and network of extremist Islamic thinkers exists that considers themselves "at War" with the West. This philosophy has at its roots the Wahabi extremist doctrimes and puritanic beliefs of the Islamic faith. Its cultural identity in clothes and attire is mid-16th Century in taste and its beliefs on society and the status of women equate to Western values that existed in the Middle Ages.
In spite of all these deficient elements, the radical philosophy of "matrydom" against the West has gained great support, especially amongst the disaffected migrant populations of developed nations and the economically disadvantaged of poorer Islamic nations.
The political and historical context of the philosophy of hate
Overlaying the basic middle aged life philosophy of radical Islam is the political and historical context of the Middle East and Asia over the past fifty years. Palestine and Israel remain major areas of concern for all members of Islam. The invasion of Iraq has been a major concern for the citizens of Islamic near neighbours. As a result, there has been an increased support of the preachers of the philosophy of hate.
The underlying political goals of the philosophy of hate
Intertwined with the political history of the past fifty years is the introduction of a new set of political goals within the overall philosophy of radical Islam. (1) To see a global Islamic state (2) To present an equally if not more powerful presence to the Christian West.
Unlike the more archaic aspects of the radical Islamic cultural agenda, these political goals are clear and concise. They provide a "reality" framework that supports the less credible elements of the philosophy (ie in heaven a martyr will receive 70 virgins). They are goals that are not easily countered as they are rational in their basis.
Military force cannot defeat an ethereal element- a philosophy
As yet, the governments of Western countries have not yet understood the nature of the problem they are facing- that is, nothing physical can defeat and ethereal enemy- an idea.
To defeat an idea, you can only succeed with a vastly better idea. In strategic terms that means an idea that addresses the fundamental pillars of the radical Islamic agenda and thus removing any legitimacy for its promotors.
To achieve this, a clear set of political understandings need to be considered.
  1. That the religion of Islam is recognized by a united global structure with a seat in the United Nations called Holy Mecca. It will be on equal footing as the Holy See and all other nations.
That Islam is united under a common constitution such as the framework provided by One Islam. Under this common constitution and framework, the family of Islam is finally united as one global family.
In recognition of this entity, the United Nations then vote to admit One Islam as Holy Mecca as a unique member of the United Nations on equal footing as the Holy Seee. This means that the faithful of Islam are finally recognized as equals for the first time in history and that every political goal espoused by radical and moderate Islamic teachers is achieved.
  2. That Jerusalem becomes a separate sovereign state and that all members of Islam become citizens of Jerusalem.
That the United Nations considers the constitution for New Jerusalem and admits this new sovereign entity as a seat on the United Nations.
This is also beyond the hopes and dreams of even the most radical of islamic extremists.
  3. The condition of fulfilment of these dreams is to end conflict
The condition of seeing these great and wonderful elements in place is the end of conflict. What such a declaration will also do announce that no agenda that seeks to harm others in the name of Islam has any legitimacy.
This is because the political agenda has been solved through peaceful and wise means without bloodshed. Without legitimacy a philosophy has no oxygen and will wither and die. This will be the case with global extremist Islam upon the completion of these elements. This is achievable by 2010.
